I haven't read Stardust, though my Gaiman-hating friend specifically
singled it out as one he disliked. (Not that I trust his opinion on
this matter!)

I've heard nothing but astonishing things about this book--I must get my hands on it! Incidentally, Stardust is also a lovely, light intro to Neil Gaiman's work. I'd highly recommend it, if you've not read it yet!
